2010 GMC Yukon XL 2500 Overview

The GMC Yukon XL 2500 has a fresh and comfortable interior. Building on a recent redesign it carries over for 2010 with a sleek body mounted on a strong, stiff frame designed for three-quarter ton duty.

Available in 2WD or 4WD the Yukon XL 2500 seats up to nine passengers and is rated to tow up to 9600 pounds when properly equipped. The SLE and the SLT trims come standard with a 352-hp 6.0-liter V8 coupled to an efficient six-speed automatic transmission. Safety features standard on all models include dual-stage front airbags, side curtain airbags, seat-mounted side airbags, four-wheel anti-lock brakes with dynamic rear proportioning, Stabilitrak stability control system with rollover mitigation, tire pressure monitoring system, and OnStar.

The 2010 model features new audio systems equipped with a USB port for all three trims.

Summary
 
The GMC Yukon XL is a fine choice for use as a family tow vehicle.   The engines and transmissions work well and the rugged chassis gives the XL ability to travel beyond where the pavement ends.   The interior ambiance is inviting, there is plenty of room inside and enough features to please any class of buyer.
