2010 Infiniti FX50 Overview

The Infiniti FX50 is a stylish 'Supernatural Cheetah' designed sport utility vehicle with a strong emphasis on 'sport'.

The FX50 packs some serious muscle under it's bulging hood. The 5.0-liter V8 pumps out a very respectable 390-hp. All that power is sent through a seven-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with manual shift mode. That manual mode is activated using solid magnesium steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. 21-inch rims and tires bolt to a fully-independent suspension. Combine all of this and you have an SUV that can put many sport sedans to shame. Leather clad eight-way power adjustable, heated and cooled front seats with driver memory, dual-zone automatic climate control, moonroof, and more add to the sense of opulence in this vehicle. Safety is covered with traction control, stability control, anti-lock brakes, and an assortment of air-bags that include curtain style air-bags for both rows of seats.

The FX50 receives standard Blutooth Streaming Audio, XM NavWeather and Zagat Restaurant Guide for 2010.

 2010 Infiniti FX50
Second generation of bionic cheetah runs like the wind.

Introduction

The Infiniti FX runs like a bionic cheetah, with sporty handling and responsive engines. The FX35 comes with a 303-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, while the FX50 features a 390-hp 5.0-liter V8. All-wheel drive is standard on the FX50, available on the FX35. Fuel economy for the FX35 is an EPA-estimated 16/23 mpg City/Highway; the FX35 AWD is rated 16/21 mpg, and the FX50 AWD is rated 14/20 mpg.

The FX is a crossover SUV designed for performance and style, so it avoids the boxy proportions of traditional SUVs. It offers some usable cargo space, but not as much back-seat room and cargo space as the boxier SUVs in spite of its large size.
